Ontario Energy Board (OEB) regulates the province’s electricity and natural gas sectors and develops and applies effective, fair and transparent regulation. OEB promotes a viable, sustainable and efficient energy sector that serves the public interest and assists consumers to obtain reliable energy services at reasonable cost. OEB sets gas & electricity rates and prices; monitors the financial and operating performance of natural gas and electrical utilities; provides consumer education and protection; and develops regulatory policy to meet emerging energy trends and challenges.
