Federal staff visit Kamloops, talk Ajax

A staffer in town to gather information for federal Environment Minister Catherine McKenna has heard more calls for a panel review for the Ajax mine.

Jesse McCormick, director of indigenous relations and regulatory affairs for the ministry, met last week with KGHM Ajax, the city, Kamloops Area Preservation Association (KAPA) and the Stk’emlupsemc Te Secwepemc Nation (SSN).
